WestConnex say they are listening to our community. They are not. If they were listening, they would halt all work immediately.
The concept design for the M4-M5 Link has been released. As we said in our response, no amount of gloss can hide the hell that this 8-lane tunnel will inflict on local communities during four years of construction.
WestConnex will be holding 'community information sessions' on the designs. It's important that as many people as possible who live in Newtown, St Peters, Annandale, Camperdown, Leichhardt, Lilyfield, Haberfield, Ashfield and Rozelle head along.
Make sure WestConnex hear loud and clear that we don't want their 8 lane toll road. We don't want them to demolish any more homes. We don't want 4 years of 24/7 construction in our neighbourhoods. We don't want them to bulldoze Sydney Park. We want them to PACK UP AND GO HOME.
