From Sydney to Ballina - Community calls to re-elect Tamara

Do you care about animal welfare? So does Tamara Smith MP - which is why we are asking people in Sydney to join us to make calls in support of the Greens for Ballina campaign on Wednesday.

Former Greens Senator and long time animal welfare advocate Lee Rhiannon and Jenny Leong MP, Member for Newtown, will be making calls with volunteers on the night.

No experience necessary. Training and vegan pizza provided.

Tamara Smith MP was elected as the Greens Member for Ballina in 2015 - since then she has stood up strong against the Nationals and Liberals agenda of animal cruelty and environmental destruction.

Just this week she has been out announcing her commitment to invest in the protection of animals - and she has advocated tirelessly for protection of koalas and our precious ocean creatures.

When the Liberal/National government caved in to the shock-jocks and powerful racing lobby overturning the ban on greyhound racing Tamara and the Greens stood strong.

Shamefully, NSW Labor sided with animal cruelty and never supported a ban on greyhound racing.

Now we have heard that the Animal Justice are preferencing the greyhound racing loving ALP over the Greens in Ballina. This is NOT okay.

Join us to make calls this Wednesday - to re-elect Greens Member for Ballina Tamara Smith.
